DataFerrett: Browser for the TheDataWeb

How do I Use DataFerrett

1. First you will next get a log-in screen. DataFerrett is free and only asks that you put in your email.

   We will not bother you with mail or use your email for any other purpose. It is purely for use if you will be downloading or extracting large amounts of data or you have a need for us to contact you. We may sometimes email you to let you know that datasets, upgrades and updates have been added.

   Start typing your email address when you see this screen. It is automatically ready for your input.
2. Click OK.
3. Now you will see a small pop-up Quick Tour of the DataFerrett. Go through this the first time you enter DataFerrett. It will help acclimate you to the application. Go through the Quick Tour and then minimize it for future reference.


You have now officially entered the DataFerrett.
4. To get to the data in DataFerrett, you will go to the STEP 1 tab at the top of the screen.

There is a link to the DataFerrett Users' Guide from within the application as well as instructions under the "i" button.
