The Login Service is responsible for restricting access to specific datasets and functions. The service can control access to public and private metadata repositories. Through this service the Login Administrator also grants access to the 'HotReports' Authoring Tool to specific users. The service logs the number of database hits of all users having 'DataWeb' tools configured to that 'DataWeb' server.
