Welcome to the DataWebServices web
The Data Web is an open-source data networking framework for a single enterprise or for multiple enterprises.
It is used to provide Statistical Business Intelligence and Geographical Intelligence System(GIS) across organizations. It allows you to access current Government statistical databases and access private databases across your own organization that you want make available to the Data web network. Databases that are available to the Data Web network can be easily used to build interactive, customizable data driven web sites and Dashboards.
By the way you can add your own database or databases to this world-wide Data-Web, by downloading a free server and loading your own data or connecting your databases to the network. Organizations that are interested in contributing useful data are appreciated. If you are interested please contact us.
The Data Web Server is really made up of a set of web services. All Data Web services are actually Java servlets running in a Tomcat, BEA webserver, Java5EE or other such Java Servlet container. The web services are designed to work with all operating systems and with all or nearly all databases and GIS servers.
Here is an overview of the
DataWebArchitecture which diagrams and explains how the different pieces plug together.
