Configurations
Multiple configuration locations on installation on in /TheDataWeb and one under each of the
TheDataWeb_Servers. This gets confusing when looking at local installs and server installs
Install location for the
UserFriendlyMessage?.txt file location is not easily determined. As it appears in multiple locations. Should it not be in one place?
Need to be more specific in the config files as to using server IP address or DNS name. Richie said use of IP of Sever name should be consistient.
Server installs should us the default port for the
MySQL? of 3306 instead of 3310

The
TheDataWeb_Tabulation.war file has and example
IoapiServer4505?.cfg file that is not a valid file, but a link file.
The documentation for the repositories need to be updated to include the creation of the ferret user.
Current dump file could not be restored to a
MySQL? 5.0 server.

The
AdminServlet? index.html document has an incorrect href to the adminservlet. This might be the case of other servletes stating it cannot find the adminservlet.

I have found other problems with the install of the PDFServer:
- There is no example-TheDataWeb.config file in the WEB-INF directory
- The index.html file in the TheDataWeb_PDFServer/index.html references the Metadata server
- The web.xml has only one of the mappings that is required.

Rebuilt a Windows 2003 server. Tried to put graphs on it with dataferret. The
HotReport? writer show the graphs, but on preview in browser the graphs did not display. Using IE as the default browser. Unable to use
FireFox? as security has disabled this browser.
