  • General

      SEARCH in Step 1 BUG:

Getting the above message when searching without selecting a specific dataset?

      Workaround:

Highlight the list of datasets to enable a search on the keyword you have typed in the search box. The standard method of using the keyboard shift key and selecting to highlight ALL the datasets will cause the DataFerrett to search across all datasets. This bug has been addressed in the upcoming Beta Release of DataFerrett Version 1.3.

    • Recodes
Bug: Cannot create a recode based on another recode.
Workaround: You can create any number of recodes based on the same variable. For example, you could create a recode based on a variable named AGE where you create 3 categories: 1-30 years, 31-60 years, and 61 and older. You can then create a second age recode based on AGE with 5 categories: 1-20, 21-40, 41-65, 66-80, and 81 and older.
    • Table: BUG: Need the GO button re-activated.
      Workaround:
Select the < Options > from the drop down menu. Select < Weighting >. Select the weight (or change to another weight if desired, and then the GO button will be reactivated.
